Felon wanted in multiple counties found with heroin while being arrested in Catoosa County

According to a Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On August 22nd, 2023, at 7:37 PM, Deputy Lowe responded to 81 Satellite Lane, Ringgold, in reference to a woman identified as Rachel Sophia Pallas, 33, of 726 Roberta Drive, Rossville, staying at the residence. Rachel had two felony outstanding warrants through two separate counties. One was through the Walker County Sheriff’s Office for vehicle theft, and the second was out of Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office for Felony probation violation with an original charge of possession of dangerous drugs. The Gwinnett County warrant advised nationwide extradition, and the Walker County warrant advised 750-mile radius extradition. Deputy Lowe already had a copy of the Gwinnett County warrant in hand. Deputy Lowe located Rachel in the back bedroom and placed her under arrest. According to the report, “On the bed, surrounding where Rachel was sitting, Deputy Lowe observed multiple drug-related objects lying in plain view on the bed. Deputy Lowe observed multiple aluminum foil pieces, multiple hollowed-out straw objects with white powder residue inside, a glass smoking device with white powder residue inside, multiple syringes, a metal spoon, and a mini brown glass jar containing a small clear baggy with white powdery substance inside. Deputy Lowe asked what Rachel was doing when she first got there, and Rachel stated, “That right there,” while nodding her head toward the items on the bed. Deputy Lowe asked what “that right there” was, to which Rachel responded, “Heroin”. Rachel was booked into the Catoosa County Jail on felony charges. Both Walker County and Gwinnett County advised placing a hold on Rachel.
