Alabama woman arrested after driving with a suspended license at 105 mph on I-75 in Whitfield County

According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on March 8th, 2021, at around 1:13 AM, Deputy Figg was working traffic on I-75 at the 324 cut-through. While working traffic, the deputy observed a 2021 Chevy Malibu rental car traveling north in the left lane at a very high rate of speed. The deputy checked the vehicle on LASER, going 105 MPH in a posted 70 MPH zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Kiera Nicole Henderson, 29, of Huntsville, Alabama. The deputy checked Kiera’s driver’s license through GCIC, which through Alabama came back suspended. The deputy returned to her vehicle and took Kiera into custody. Kiera was transported to the Whitfield County Jail charged with speeding, driving on a suspended license, and reckless driving.
