According to a Floyd County Police Department incident report, Investigators continued to conduct proactive investigations to find child predators who use social media platforms to find children for sex. The Investigator reported, “[I] was posing as a 14-year-old girl online for the purposes of identifying child predators.” Kenyon Dekota Wilson, 35 of Austell, engaged in graphic conversation of a sexual nature with someone he thought to be a child. According to the report, Wilson also asked the child to send him nude photographs. Wilson was taken into custody at an agreed-upon location in Floyd County. The report said Wilson was found to be in possession of cocaine. Wilson was booked into the Floyd County Jail, charged with child molestation, obscene internet contact with a child, sexual exploitation of a child, use of a computer to solicit a child to commit a felony, and possession of cocaine.
