[I] estimated, checked, and confirmed the Altima‚Äôs speed at 111 MPH using the rear antenna of my RADAR unit. [I] activated my emergency flashing lights. The driver of the Altima, Cassandra Lynn Eldridge, 26, of Calhoun, reduced the speed of her Altima and appeared reluctant to pass my patrol vehicle. The speeds we were traveling became so slow that [I] felt we were nearly going to stop on the interstate. [I] pulled onto the left shoulder. Eldridge would come to a stop behind my patrol vehicle.” Eldridge was ordered from the vehicle and taken into custody after attempting to resist arrest. Eldridge was transported to the Whitfield County Jail, charged with speeding and reckless driving.
