Calhoun woman arrested for reckless driving after going 107 mph on I-75 in Whitfield County

According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office report, on March 3rd, 2021, at around 1:54 AM, Deputy Figg was working traffic on I-75 northbound at the 324 cut-through. While working traffic, the deputy observed a 2014 Chrysler 300 traveling northbound in the left lane at a very high rate of speed. The deputy checked the vehicle on LASER going 107 MPH in a posted 70 MPH Zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Mia Ann Nichole Golden, 22, of Calhoun. Deputy requested Mia’s driver’s license then had her exit the vehicle, explaining to her that she was under arrest for speeding as well as reckless driving. Mia was transported to the Whitfield County Jail, charged with speed (107/70) and reckless driving.
