Convicted felons found in possession gun while distributing meth in Whitfield County investigation

According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office in indent report, As a result of a narcotics investigation into the sale of meth, on September 26th, 2022, Michael Allen Dyer, 52, of 187 Wilson Avenue, Dalton, GA, was booked into the Whitfield County Jail charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession to distribute methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, attempt or conspiracy to VGCSA, and use of communication facilities in a drug transaction. James Andrew Elder, 41, of 187 Wilson Avenue, Dalton, GA, was booked into the Whitfield County Jail charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession to distribute methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Audra Deems, 51, of Ranger, was booked into the Whitfield County Jail and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects.
