Dalton mother arrested after being caught shoplifting from East Walnut Avenue Walmart with daughter

According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On April 15th, 2022, at 11:49 AM, Deputy Figg was dispatched to the Walmart located at 2545 East Walnut Avenue in reference to a shoplifting. According to the report, Upon arrival Deputy Figg made contact with the loss prevention associate, who stated the following. She stated on camera she observed a juvenile (13) and her mother, Griselda Maribel Flores-Gracia , 36, of Dalton, at the checkout skip scanning items placing the unscanned items in a bag. When She made contact with them and took them back with her to the loss prevention office, she advised Walmart would be pressing charges. Deputy Figg also observed the incident on camera. The juvenile was charged with shoplifting on citation number 304192. She was turned over to her father. Deputy Figg transported Griselada to the Whitfield County Jail, charged with shoplifting and contributing to the Delinquency of a minor.
