According to the GSP: According to the preliminary investigation, around 8 p.m. Wednesday, a Toyota 4Runner was traveling south on Hall Station Road when the driver lost control and wrecked on the shoulder of the roadway. The driver exited her vehicle and entered the roadway where she was struck by a Chevrolet Colorado. The pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Floyd Medical Center. The driver of the Toyota 4Runner who became the pedestrian struck in the roadway was issued several traffic citations including D.U.I. The driver of the Chevrolet Colorado was not injured.
