Father arrested after obstructing Drug Task Force Agents attempting to arrest son on felony warrant for parole violation

According to a Chattooga County Sheriffs Office incident report, on March 23, Agents Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force Agents traveled to 9 Alabama Avenue to serve a felony parole violation warrant and were met at the door by Robert Earl Green, 57, of Cloudland. Through the door, agents could see Casey Earl Green, 29, of Summerville, who they were there to arrest. According to the report, “Robert Green refused to step aside to let agents take Casey Green into custody. Robert continued to resist and attempted to close the door on agents when told he was also under arrest. He kept resisting as he was being handcuffed. Casey Green was detained, and a search warrant was executed, resulting in agents finding several small baggies of methamphetamine and a burnt glass pipe. Casey Green was booked into the Chattooga County Jail, charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects, and the felony parole violation warrant. Casey Green was also booked on warrants from September 5th, 2021, for criminal trespass, driving without a valid license, no insurance, failure to yield while turning left, expired tag, and improper class of license. Robert Green was booked into the Chattooga County Jail, charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects, obstructing an officer and hindering the apprehension of a felony criminal.
