Florida woman arrested for DUI after causing two-vehicle crash in Gordon County

According to a Gordon County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On August 20th, 2022, at approximately 9:37 AM, Deputy Ralston was dispatched to the Interstate 75 northbound exit ramp at Union Grove in reference to a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. Deputy Ralston spoke with one of the drivers who advised the other driver had pulled into Buc-ee’s and begged her not to call 911 because she would go to jail again. She stated she observed the female driver, later identified as Suzanna Frances Cain, 41, St. Petersburg, Florida, placing a case of beer in the back seat before running into the gas station. Deputy Ralston observed Cain’s vehicle had two flat tires and was parked halfway in a parking spot and halfway in the driveway of the store. Cain eventually came out of the store and began speaking with deputies. During field sobriety, Cain showed several signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DUI. Cain agreed to the state test and was transported to the Gordon County Jail. Cain showed a BrAC of .214 and was charged with DUI, following too closely, open container violation, and no insurance.
