Kennesaw man arrested for reckless driving after going 88 mph on Chatsworth Highway in Whitfield County

According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on April 30th, 2021, at around 8:54 PM, Deputy Figg was working traffic on Chatsworth Highway at the cattle gate just east of Highway 286. While working traffic, the deputy observed a 2006 Honda traveling westbound in the left lane at a high rate of speed, rapidly passing cars. The deputy checked the vehicle on LASER, the vehicle registered 88 MPH in a posted 55 MPH Zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Patrick Manuelpillai-Sebastian, 56, of Kennesaw. The deputy had Patrick exit his vehicle taking him into custody. Patrick was transported to the Whitfield County Jail charged with speeding and reckless driving.
