According to a Dalton Police Department incident report, On August 23rd, 2022, at 6:56 PM, Officer Miller responded to a complaint call about a male subject, later identified as Trammel Callaway Townsend, 59, of Dalton, exposing himself at a park in Dalton. Officer Sosa stopped Trammel, and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage could be smelt coming from him. Officer Sosa advised Trammel that there had been a complaint called in about him exposing himself in front of the children playing at the park. Trammel stated that he had urinated over by the bushes. Officer Miller reported, “[I] could hear Trammel’s speech was slurred while he spoke. [I] then asked Trammel if he had been drinking. Trammel advised that he had consumed a beer earlier. [I] advised Trammel that there were public restrooms just across the park and that he couldn’t be exposing himself in public, especially with children present.” Trammel was placed under arrest and booked into the Whitfield County Jail, charged with public drunkenness and public indecency. According to Dalton Police Department, On august 27th, 2022, at 3:16 PM, Officer and officer Murdoch responded to the local park in Dalton in reference to a male causing a disturbance. The caller explained that he and his family were having a birthday party for one of the two-year-old relatives. There were multiple children at this party. He said that a man, identified as Trammel Townsend, walked up to them, asking for food. They gave him some food, and he continued to linger close to the party. At one point, after being asked to leave, Trammel exposed his penis to urinate. The caller said that they could still see Trammel and his penis where they were standing. Trammel was placed under arrest and booked into the Whitfield County Jail, charged with public indecency. According to Whitfield County arrest reports, Trammel was arrested on August 19th, 2022, for PUI pedestrian under the influence.
