Marietta man arrested after being caught in online undercover child predator sex sting in Floyd County 

According to a Floyd County Police Department incident report, Investigators continued to conduct proactive investigations to find child predators who use social media platforms to find children for sex. The Investigator reported, “[I] was posing as a 14-year-old girl online for the purposes of identifying child predators.” Anel Terzic, 35 of Marietta, engaged in online conversations of a sexual nature with someone he thought to be a child. According to the report, Terzic also asked the child to send him nude photographs. He was taken into custody at an arranged location in which he was going to meet the child to engage in sexual acts. Terzic was booked into the Floyd County Jail, charged with aggravated child molestation, use of a computer to solicit a child to commit a felony, obscene internet contact with a child, sexual exploitation of a child, and distracted driving hands free violation.
