Mississippi woman wanted by the US Marshals arrested during DUI traffic stop in Catoosa County

According to a Georgia State Patrol incident report, On August 9th, 2022, Trooper Story was patrolling Three Notch Road near Ga-2 when she spotted a black 2003 Infiniti failing to maintain its lane by crossing over both the fog line and center line. The trooper initiated a stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Zhioukell Jaquay Brown, 43, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Trooper Story reported, “Upon walking up [I] immediately noticed the strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. [I] asked Ms. Brown if she had any marijuana inside the vehicle, and she first stated no, and then she stated yes and handed me a blunt. Then she said she was fine. [I] asked Ms. Brown if she was smoking it while driving, and she stated no and that she had smoked before. Upon talking to Ms. Brown, [I] also noticed the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Ms. Brown’s breath. [I] asked Ms. Brown if she had any alcohol to drink, and she stated no. [I] asked Ms. Brown if she would take a breathalyzer test, and she stated no.” During Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, brown showed several signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DUI. Brown was checked through GCIC and found to have a warrant through the US Marshals and Fulton County. Brown was refused the state test and refused to speak any further with the trooper. The trooper did locate marijuana along with a cup that was full of ice and a liquid substance that had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Brown was booked into the Catoosa County Jail, charged with DUI, driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to maintain a single lane, driving without a valid license, open container violation, possession of drug-related objects, and possession of marijuana.
