Missouri man arrested after violently assaulting wife at the Flying J in Gordon County

According to a Gordon County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On Friday, July 1st, 2022, at 1103 PM, Deputy Phillips was dispatched to 288 Resaca Beach Blvd in reference to a woman trespassing in the Flying J gas station. The deputy spoke to the victim, who advised that her husband, Chad Allen Gabrielson, 41, of Fenton, Missouri, had abused and assaulted her inside his truck in the back of the parking lot of Flying J. According to the report, “Deputy Phillips noticed bruising around the neck area of the victim and asked her if there were any more marks. Deputy Phillips then observed a red mark on her left eyeball. She stated Gabrielson had smacked her with an open palm. She also stated that Gabrielson had choked her with his hands around her neck, which left serious bruising and constricted her breathing. The victim also had bruises around both arms near the armpit area.” Gabrielson would later call Gordon County 911 and advised the deputy he was heading back to the Flying J to pick his wife up. Gabrielson advised the victim liked to choke herself during sex. The victim said the marks were not from any sexual activities, and they were unwanted. Gabrielson was then arrested and booked into the Gordon County Jail, charged with aggravated assault and battery (FVA).
