Mother and son arrested after Lookout Mountain Drug Agents find gun, meth, pills, and other drugs at motel

According to Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on March 30th, around 10:00 AM, Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force Agents traveled to the Summerville Motel on Hwy. 27, where they found a clear plastic baggie of methamphetamine and a clear plastic bag of marijuana on Riley Allen Jefferson O’Brien, 28 of Summerville. Upon a search of motel room no, which O’Brien and his mother, Danielle Marie Rape. 48, of Summerville, were staying in, agents found 25 Alplrazolam pills, a tetracycline pill and a Hi-Point 9mm pistol. O’Brien is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule IV substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Rape is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule IV substance, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and having an expired tag.
