One killed and four injured in serious head-on crash on Highway 151 in Catoosa County Friday

UPDATE: According to family and GSP the woman killed in the crash Friday has been identified as Hannah Holland, 25, of LaFayette. According to family, Her infant which was in the back seat of her car Jackson Cash Hughes has also passed away after being flown to Erlanger with serious injuries. A GoFundMe page has since been set up for the mother and son killed.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, “These are the preliminary findings from the investigation by GSP Post 5 – Dalton Vehicle #1, a red 2015 Mazda Sport, was traveling south on GA 151 negotiating a curve in the 9102 block near Beaver Creek Lane. Vehicle #2, a black 2012 Infiniti QX56, was traveling north on GA 151 negotiating a curve. The Mazda Sport traveled off the westside (right-side) of the roadway and the driver of the Mazda overcorrected to the left. The Mazda crossed the center line striking the Infiniti in the driver side head light with the driver side head light of the Mazda. The female driver of the Mazda succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver of the Infiniti and two passengers were transported to Erlanger Medical Center. A passenger in the Mazda was life flighted by LifeForce to Erlanger Medical Center.
