One killed, two airlifted after two-vehicle crash in Murray County Monday, GSP investigating

According to the Georgia State Patrol Public Information Director: “On June 14, 2021, at 5:40 p.m., the Georgia State Patrol Post 43 Calhoun was requested to investigate a two-vehicle crash on Smyrna Ramhurst Road near Will Evans Road, in Murray County. Vehicle #1 and vehicle #2 were traveling west on Smyrna Ramhurst Road. The driver of vehicle #1 struck vehicle #2 and caused both vehicles to leave the roadway. The driver of vehicle #2 suffered fatal injuries. The passenger in vehicle #2 was totally ejected. The driver of vehicle #1 and the passenger in vehicle #2 were both flown to a hospital with life threatening injuries. The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is assisting with this investigation.”
