According to a Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On July 5th, 2022, Deputy Edwards met with a man who stated his 14-year-old daughter met with a man later identified as Austin Tyler Zinna, 21, of Ringgold, on Instagram and had been communicating with him on the app. According to the report, “The juvenile snuck out of the house on June 20, 23, and 30 to meet Austin. On one occasion, Austin picked her up at the gas station at Reeds Bridge and Burning Bush Road. Austin took the juvenile to his residence on Homewood Drive. At this residence, Austin provided the juvenile with alcohol and marijuana and had sex with the juvenile.” On July 6th, 2022, a detective contacted the Children’s Advocacy Center and scheduled a forensics interview. On July 12th, Austin was arrested by detectives at his residence on Homewood Drive. Austin was arrested on six valid arrest warrants for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, child molestation x2, aggravated child molestation, and enticing a child for indecent purposes x2.
