Ringgold man wanted in Rossville church HVAC theft arrested in Walker County driving stolen truck

According to a press release from WCSO, William Michael Crawley, age 45 of Ringgold, GA has been charged with the August 11, 2024 theft of a HVAC unit at Mission Glen Baptist church, 2125 Happy Valley Rd., Rossville, GA., according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson.

Crawley was stopped by a Walker County Deputy on August 18, 2024 driving a stolen truck from Hamilton Co. TN. The truck matched the description of the suspect’s truck on August 11th., the Sheriff, said.

Crawley has been charged with the following offenses. Theft by Taking (Felony), Criminal Damage to Property, Theft by Bringing Stolen Property into the State, Fugitive from another State, Open Container and Possession of Meth.

Crawley is being held on a $7,639.50 bond. He will be extradited to Hamilton Co. TN upon making bond
