Rock Spring man found with drugs and gun while being arrested for DUI in Floyd County

According to a Floyd County Police Department incident report, On October 11th, 2022, at 5:47 PM, FCPD Officers started en route to a BOLO given out for a white truck traveling in bound on GA 1 (Martha Berry Highway) on the wrong side of the roadway. Officer Stanfield located the truck at the convenient store located at 2930 Martha Berry Highway and made contact with the driver identified as Conner Harrison Price, 24, of Rock Spring. Officer Penny arrived to assist Officer Stanfield. Officer Stanfield did locate a gun on Price during the incident. During field sobriety testing, Price showed several signs of drug impairment. Price was charged with DUI and refused implied consent. Officer Puckett located a large various amount of drugs within the vehicle during his search incident to arrest. The Rome Floyd Metro Task Force was contacted and responded to the location to assist. Officers located ketamine, Xanax, MDMA, marijuana, a marijuana grinder, digital scales and a Glock handgun. Price was charged wth DUI, possession of a schedule I, III and IV controlled substances, possession of drug related objects, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of marijuana.
