Rock Spring woman charged with child molestation and statutory rape

According to Trion Police Department Investigator Dexter Blackmon, Walker County Sheriff’s Office Investigators notified Trion City Police about a case that occurred in Trion. Walker County Investigators advised a male victim who was only 14-years-old at the time had been talking with them. The victim confirmed that on at least one occasion, he had sexual relationships with a woman identified as Torie Ahbrail Mitchell, 30, of Rock Spring, at a motel in Trion. Torie was booked into the Walker County Jail on charges of DUI, DUI child endangerment, driving while license is suspended or revoked, no insurance, and failure to maintain a single lane. The charges were related to a vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 151 in Walker County on September 2nd, left her and a 5-year-old child injured. Torie was then transported to the Chattooga County Jail on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 on charges of statutory rape and child molestation. According to jail records, she was released from jail on September 30th, on a 25,000 property bond.
