Rome man wanted for stealing four-wheeler found in possession of meth in Floyd County

According to a Floyd County Police Department incident report, July 25th, 2022, at 4:12 AM, Officer Bray was en-route to 75 Lock and Dam Road to assist other Officers on a follow-up of a stolen four-wheeler and a male identified as Dexter Lee Roden, 28 of Rome, at the location having a warrant for his arrest. Officer Bray and Sgt Holbrook made contact with Roden at the residence and placed him under arrest for the felony warrant. According to the report, “When asked about the stolen four wheeler, Roden stated the four wheeler was not here at 75 Lock and Dam and was dropped off at 1289 Doyle Road at Lamar Lindsey’s house. Mr. Roden stated Mr. Lindsey did know that the four-wheeler was stolen.” Officers located a plastic bag containing meth inside his pocket. Roden was transported to the Floyd County Jail, charged with theft by receiving stolen property and possession of methamphetamine. According to arrest records, in 2021, Roden was arrested after leading Floyd County Police on a chase on a stolen motorcycle.
