Rome Police Department requesting the public’s help in fatal hit-and-run investigation

The Rome Police Department Selective Enforcement Unit is seeking help and information regarding a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021, on South McLin Street. “We are seeking information from the driver of a white newer model 4-door Nissan Frontier.” This vehicle was last seen in the area at 7:44 AM on Wednesday. According to the Rome PD, the white Nissan Frontier may have possible front end and/or undercarriage damage. The driver of this vehicle may be directly involved or may have other information relating to the death of the pedestrian from this crash.
