Rossville man injured after taking out two mailboxes and crashing into utility pole in Walker County

According to a Georgia State Patrol crash report, On May 24th, 2022, at 8:15 AM, a 2018 Nissan Altima being driven by Dusty Hunnicutt, 38, of Rossville, was traveling southbound on Hogan Circle. According to the report, “Dusty stated as he began to negotiate a curve, an unknown animal entered the roadway, causing him to steer to the right. The Altima traveled off the right shoulder of the roadway, striking two mailboxes and a utility pole with the front of the Altima. The Altima came to final rest, with the front of the vehicle, against the pole, off the right shoulder.” Dusty was injured in the crash but refused to be transported by EMS. Dusty was cited by GSP for driving with no insurance and a seat belt violation.
