Rossville woman charged with DUI after causing serious head-on crash injuring six in Catoosa County

According to a Georgia State Patrol crash report, on Friday, August 14th, 2021, at around 10:34 PM, a 1998 Ford Expedition being driven by Crystal Spring Branch, 38, of Rossville, was traveling north on GA-3 near Pine Grove Access Road in Catoosa County. A 2019 Hyundai Tucson Limited being driven by Alison Michelle Duckett, 25, of Chatsworth, was traveling south on GA-3. Branch failed to maintain her lane, crossing the centerline and traveling into the southbound lane of travel. The Ford struck the Hyundai on the front with the front of the Ford. The Ford came to a final uncontrolled rest to the left of the roadway facing east. The Hyundai came to a final uncontrolled rest facing north in the northbound lane of travel. Alexis England, 35, of Summerville, a passenger, and owner of the Ford, was seriously injured along with a 14-year-old. Alexis England was just arrested on the 8th of August after she drove drunk to pick up her son from police in Chattooga County. They were both taken by Puckett EMS to Erlanger in Chattanooga. Alison Duckett was seriously injured and taken by Puckett EMS to Erlanger. Two passengers, including a 4-year-old child in her vehicle, were also injured in the crash and transported by Puckett EMS to Erlanger. Branch suffered minor injuries according to the report and was booked into the Catoosa County Jail, charged with DUI/alcohol, driving while license is suspended or revoked, driving on the wrong side of the road, and a failure to appear warrant.
