Several teenagers seriously injured and ejected in DUI crash early Sunday morning in Floyd County

According to the Floyd County Police on Sunday, January 24th, at around 2:16 a.m. Nissan Sentra being driven by Alyssa Jackson, 19, was southbound on Ga. 101. The Nissan went off the road, down an embankment and then rolled several times, wiping out a fence. Two backseat passengers, ages 16 and 17, were ejected. One was airflifted from Floyd Medical Center to Scottish Rite. Alyssa Jackson has been charged with driving under the influence, according to Sgt. Chris Fincher.
