According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on October 29th, 2020, at about 10:00 PM, a deputy responded to the business of Walmart located at 2545 East Walnut Avenue regarding a theft by shoplifting. At the location, the deputy met with Walmart’s asset protection associate. He observed an unidentified female, later identified as Audriana Brooklyn Collins,26, of Ellijay, select merchandise then at a self-checkout register; she made her purchase of certain merchandise. The female failed to scan three of the items, not completing a purchase. The associate was unable to apprehend the female subject, nor was he was able to obtain personal information as she fled the premises. The associate was able to obtain the female’s vehicle’s Georgia registration plate. The stolen merchandise was not recovered and amounted to $53.90. On April 4th, 2021, Audriana was booked into the Whitfield County Jail charged with theft by shoplifting and failure to appear.
