Sugar Valley woman arrested driving reckless at 90 mph on a suspended license in Gordon County

According to a Gordon County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on Monday, April 26th, 2021, at approximately 7:49 AM, Deputy Kirby was on routine patrol when he observed a black in color 2006 Dodge Charger traveling at a high rate of speed on Old Rome Dalton Rd. The deputy activated her RADAR and observed the vehicle traveling at 90 miles per hour in the posted 45 miles per hour zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the Dodge Charge on Old Rome Dalton Road. The deputy made contact with the driver, Telenia Brown, 26, of Sugar Valley. She stated that she did not have a driver’s license and that she had just dropped her kids off at school. Brown stated that she knew that she was speeding. Brown returned through Gordon 911 with a suspended license. Brown was placed under arrest and transported to the Gordon County Jail charged with speeding, reckless driving, and driving while license suspended.
