Summerville man arrested after being found loitering while under the influence

According to a Summerville Police Department incident report, on Monday, December 27th, 2021, Summerville Police Officers arrested Brandon Lee Snowden, 23, of Summerville, who admitted he planned to steal the catalytic converter from a U-Haul truck. Snowden was seen loitering around a U-Haul truck at the intersection of Fairground Road and Seventh Street at 2:09 a.m. When officers spoke with Snowden, he admitted he planned to steal the catalytic converter from the vehicle. Officers also determined Snowden to be under the influence of marijuana. Snowden was booked into the Chattooga County Jail, charged with public intoxication, loitering and prowling
