Summerville man arrested for DUI after swerving all over the roadway in Chattooga County

According to a Summerville Police Department incident report, on Friday, June 11th, Officer Matthew Wilson initiated a traffic stop on a swerving vehicle with faulty taillights just after midnight. Koby Chandler Bunner, 20, of Summerville, was seen heading south on Commerce Street, “swerving side to side inside his lane and hitting the white fog line once before passing the Family Dollar store,” according to the citation. Bunner had “a strong smell of alcoholic beverage coming from his person” and “admitted to drinking,” according to reports. Officers found “three opened chilled Natural Light alcoholic beverages” inside the vehicle, according to reports. Bunner allegedly “furnished an alcoholic beverage to a minor when he gave his 16-year-old friend [passenger] a Natural Light beverage to consume,” according to reports. Bunner was arrested for acquiring alcohol for an underage person, driving under the influence of alcohol, open container of alcohol, underage consumption of alcohol, and underage possession of alcohol.
