Summerville pair arrested on DUI and disorderly conduct charges after domestic in Chattooga County

According to a Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on August 18th, 2021, deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute in progress at 1828 Back Berryton Road in Summerville. Deputy Marvin Armstrong was advised that a female had left the area in a green Ford Ranger, according to the incident report. Deputy Armstrong found the vehicle stopped in the roadway and had prior knowledge that the driver, Samantha Kayla Timmons, 38, had a suspended license, according to the incident report. The deputy placed Samantha in cuffs and noticed an open Bud Ice beer bottle sitting open in the passenger floorboard. [Deputy Armstrong] asked her how many beers she has had, to which she answered six,” according to reports. Timmons told the deputy Her and [Eddie Dale Timmons, 41] had been in a verbal altercation and were yelling and fighting,” according to reports. The deputy said that because “[Police] had been out there to [their] house so many times, they were both under arrest for disorderly conduct,” according to reports. Samantha “got very mad and would not listen to what [the deputy] was telling her. She denied a field sobriety and breath test,” according to reports. Samantha was arrested for disorderly conduct, driving under the influence of alcohol and open container of alcohol. Eddie was arrested for disorderly conduct, according to reports.
