Summerville police officers make multiple meth trafficking arrests

According to the Summerville Police Department, on Thursday, July 1st, 2021, Lieutenant Phillip Cox and Officer Matt Pritchard were following leads to an ongoing investigation. During this investigation they made contact with Mr. Tristan Rackley. Mr. Rackley was found in possession of drugs and placed under arrest. His charges will be listed below. Tristan Rackley of Summerville, GA was charged with: possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects, and possession of marijuana. On July 5th, 2021 during a routine traffic stop Summerville Police Officer Matt Wilson arrested Christopher Jeff Edwards after finding 39 grams of methamphetamine in his possession. Mr. Edwards charges will be listed below.Christopher Jeff Edwards of Summerville, GA was charged with: failure to signal when turning, abandonment of dangerous drugs/poisons controlled substances, possession of methamphetamine, poss. of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, trafficking of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects, fleeing and attempting to elude police officer, and obstruction of a police officer.
