Summerville woman arrested after driving drunk to pick up son from police in Chattooga County

According to a Chattooga County Sheriffs incident report, on early Sunday, August 8th, 2021, Corporal Corey Fielding was “assisting the Summerville Police Department in a juvenile-related call involving an incident that occurred at McDonald’s,” according to the incident report. A parent of one of the juveniles involved in the incident arrived on the scene. Corporal Fielding made contact with Alexis Terrishea England, 35, of Summerville, who had “the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath. Her speech was slurred,” according to reports. England told the corporal she had been drinking, saying she had consumed four beers a few hours ago, according to reports. England took an alco-sensor test, which came back positive, according to reports. England was booked into the Chattooga County Jail charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
