Teenager injured after crashing into tree Saturday morning on Highway 193 in Walker County

According to a Georgia State Patrol crash report, on Saturday, November 6th, 2021, at around 8:00 AM, a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder being driven by Kameron Shropshire, 19, of Summerville, was traveling south on GA 193. According to the crash report, Shropshire had worked a late shift and was going to his grandmother’s to rest. The Nissan crossed the center line and traveled onto the east shoulder. The Nissan continued south, on the shoulder, until striking a tree with the Nissan’s front. The Nissan then rotated clockwise, coming to rest facing north. According to the crash report, Shropshire was not wearing a seatbelt and was injured in the crash. Shropshire was taken to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga by CHI EMS. He was given a warning and issued a citation for not wearing a seatbelt.
