Tennessee man arrested for DUI after driving 99 mph while pleasuring himself on I-75 in Gordon County

According to a Georgia State Patrol incident report, On Wednesday, August 31st, 2022, at approximately 11:05 AM, TFC3 Apodaca was stationary near mile marker 316 on I-75 north on the left shoulder when he checked a 2022 Chevy Malibu at 99 MPH. Trooper Apodaca conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as Shivon C. Lewis-Dodd, 27, of Antioch, TN. Trooper Apodaca reported, “[I] exited my patrol vehicle and approached the driver side to speak to the driver and observed the driver zipping his pants up. [I] immediately asked the driver to step out of his vehicle and asked what he was doing. The driver stated he was jerking off. [I] asked if he was doing that while driving and if he was watching a video of something. The driver stated oh yeah.” While speaking to the Lewis-Dodd, the trooper could smell the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from inside Lewis-Dodd. The man advised the trooper he had been drinking and showed a BAC of .135 on a PBT. During standardized field sobriety evaluations, Lewis-Dodd showed several signs of impairment. Trooper Apodaca reported, “After HGN, I asked Mr. Lewis-Dodd if he had a lot to drink at midnight, and he stated yeah. I asked what he had to drink, and he stated Vodka.” Lewis-Dodd was placed under arrest for DUI and agreed to the state test. Lewis-Dodd was booked into the Gordon County Jail, where he showed a BAC of. 124. Lewis-Dodd was charged with DUI, speeding, and distracted driving/watching his phone.
