Tennessee pair arrested on gun and drug trafficking charges after 109 mph traffic stop on I-75 in Catoosa County

According to a Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on February 7th, 2022, at approximately 9:15 PM, Detective Pitts was contacted by GSP Trooper Whitfield. Trooper Whitfield advised he had conducted a traffic stop on a silver 2020 Nissan Pathfinder (Rental) for traveling 109 MPH in a 70 MPH speed zone. According to the report, “Trooper Whitfield advised as he was approaching the vehicle he could smell an odor consistent with burnt marijuana. Trooper Whitfield advised during his probable cause search, he had located multiple different types of illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. Detective Pitts responded to the incident location and found the driver Sierra LeTrece Raymond, 34, of Clarksville, TN, and Dominique Terrell Allen, 29, of Clarksville, TN, had been detained in a City of Ringgold Police Department patrol vehicle.” A Glock 27 handgun was located in a bag in the front passenger’s floorboard, and a silver Rossi revolver was located in a bag in the passenger’s rear floorboard. In excess of an ounce of cocaine was located in a plastic container with approximately an ounce of a weed. Inside a glass container, two large bags of methamphetamine were located. The glass container also contained in excess of 50 colored pills consistent with Ecstasy, which were broken down into multiple bags. Multiple packs of empty clear cellophane bags were located, which could be used to repackage the items. Raymond and Allen were transported to Catoosa County Jail, where they were charged with trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana, or meth, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies. Raymond was also charged with speeding and reckless driving.
