Truck crashes into Chatsworth gas station Wednesday morning after Crandall man suffers fatal medical incident

According to The Georgia State Patrol, on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021, at around 5:15 AM, a dump truck being driven by Michael Reynold, 53, of Crandall was heading east in the right lane on Georgia State Route 52 at Greeson Bend Road. According to the GSP, Reynold suffered an apparent medical incident before leaving the roadway. The truck left the Highway and crashed into a Citgo gas station on located at 5040 US-76 in Chatsworth. Reynold’s was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to GSP. According to family, Reynold suffered a fatal heart attack which lead to the crash. The store owner said thew store was closed at the time of the crash and thankfully no employees or customers were injured.
