Victim in domestic arrested after obstructing Chattooga County deputies and becoming disorderly

According to a Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on August 6th, 2021, Deputy Wilks, responded to 60 Milton Circle to assist Deputy Mitchell in reference to a physical domestic. While assisting Deputy Mitchell in arresting primary aggressor Stewart the victim Collette became extremely irate by screaming in a loud and boisterous manner inside that apartment, saying, “I’m not pressing charges, please don’t take him to jail and I’m crazy as f**k!” Deputy Wilks, reported, “Subject then approached us, and [I], Deputy Wilks, lightly pushed subject back giving a lawful command to get back. Once outside the apartment Collette then approached us again while approaching Deputy Mitchell’s patrol unit trying to stop us from opening the door [I] again put my hand out and lightly pushed the Collette back giving lawful commands to get back. Once the door to the patrol unit was open aggressor Stewart refused to enter the the vehicle. Deputy Mitchell and myself placed aggressor the inside of the vehicle.” According to the report, the victim was still being loud and boisterous then yelled “I don’t give a f**k,” in an very irate manner yelling. Deputies then placed Collette under arrest. Collette was transported to Chattooga County Jail charged with obstruction of law enforcement officers and disorderly conduct.
