Wisconsin woman arrested for reckless driving after going 108 mph on I-75 in Whitfield County

According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on April 13th, 2021, at around 3:26 AM, Deputy Figg was working traffic on I-75 southbound at the 338 cut-through. While working in traffic, the deputy observed a vehicle traveling south on I-75 in the left lane at a very high rate of speed. The deputy checked the 2021 Toyota Corolla on LASER, going 108 MPH in a posted 70 MPH Zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle just south of the 337 Mile Marker. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Cynthia Scott, 33, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Once she handed the license over to the deputy, he instructed her to exit the vehicle as she was under arrest for reckless driving. After several times of instructing Cynthia to exit the vehicle, she finally complied with the deputy and was taken into custody without incident. Cynthia was transported to the Whitfield County Jail charged with speeding and reckless driving.
