Woman arrested on warrants related to January shoplifting at Dalton Walmart

According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, on January 22nd, 2021, At approximately 8:23 PM, a deputy was dispatched to the Walmart located at 2545 East Walnut Avenue in reference to a shoplifting that occurred on January 21st, 2021. The associate with asset protection advised the deputy that he had video footage of Ginger Leigh Long, 46, of Dalton, and another person that he believed was Caroline Smith. Long’s daughter shoplifting several items. The associate’s narrative on the Walmart loss prevention report states the following: Two Female subjects entered the building without merchandise. They then travel around the building, selecting various items together before traveling to the service desk, where they fraudulently refund the merchandise with their driver’s license. The report listed they got a total of $306.33 back on gift cards. They then exited the store. The female told the customer service desk that her name was Andrina Roberts. Andrina Sheree Roberts, 25, was booked into the Whitfield County Jail on April 17th on warrants for theft by shoplifting, theft by deception, and destroy/remove deal with property subject security interest $500.
