Woman injured after crashing into rear of vehicle on Highway 136 in Walker County

According to a Georgia State Patrol crash report, on January 12th, 2022, at around 7:32 PM, a 2016 Nissan Rogue being driven by Grisel Roman, 30, of Oklahoma, was traveling east on SR 136, and the driver did not see a 1997 Jeep Cherokee stopped to turn left at Kemp Road. According to the report, The Nissan struck the Jeep in the rear with the front of Nissan. After impact, the Nissan came to rest at the area of impact, and the Jeep came to rest off the north side of the roadway. The driver of the Jeep, Levi Jones, 22, of Trion, was not injured in the crash. Grisel was injured in the crash and transported to Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton. Levi was issued a citation for insurance. Grisel was issued a citation for following too closely.
